This article will show you how to set up a Google location API for short form pages.
- Log into Google Cloud console: https://console.cloud.google.com/
- Confirm "Active" billing is set up by clicking "Billing" in the navigation menu (https://console.cloud.google.com/billing)

See status under "MY BILLING ACCOUNT" will show "Active"

- Click on "MY PROJECTS" and create a project if none exists
Note: Google cloud can be finicky so make sure that there is a “My Billing Account” set up and connected to the Project:
- In menu to the left, navigate to "APIs & Services" and click on > "Library"
- Enable the following APIs by clicking on the box with the appropriate API name
- Geocoding API
- Maps-JavaScript API
- Places API
- Optional “Places API (New)”
- In menu to the left, navigate to "Credentials" and click on "+ CREATE CREDENTIALS" in top menu

Below "+ CREATE CREDENTIALS" click on "API key"
In API restrictions select the 3 api’s you enabled:
Places API
Geocoding API
Maps Javascript API - Copy the API key and save; and use it in tasks for the dev team for short form offers
