How to obtain a Google Developer API key for auto complete address.

This article will show you how to set up a Google location API for short form pages.

1. Log into Google Cloud console:  https://console.cloud.google.com/
2. Confirm "Active" billing is set up by clicking "Billing" in the navigation menu (https://console.cloud.google.com/billing).

   • Status under "MY BILLING ACCOUNT" will show "Active" 

     

3. Click on "MY PROJECTS" and create a project if none exists
   
    
4. In menu to the left, navigate to "APIs & Services" and click on > "Library" 
   
    
5. Enable the following APIs by clicking on the box with the appropriate API name
   • Geocoding API
   • Maps-JavaScript API
   • Places API
6. In menu to the left, navigate to "Credentials" and click on "+ CREATE CREDENTIALS" in top menu
   
    
7. Below "+ CREATE CREDENTIALS" click on "API key"
   
    
8. Copy the API key and save
